Art made to appeal to anybody but yourself seems to be something flawed. I can understand wanting to have your art appreciated but if you're going to create something just to please somebody else I see that as selling out. Create what you see in your mind, express yourself however you can. If people appreciate it great, if not then so be it.

I know a lot of people already feel this way, but I still see people trying to create just follow a style or fit into a certain class of art.

I do what I do to express myself and put my ideas on some form of canvas. I just wish more people would put emphasis expression instead of acceptance.
